Girl Power this weekend.....

Some excellent results for the Junior section this weekend:

The girls squad played 2 matches, won 2.
U13A had a very convincing win over Fawley on Thursday evening.
Bashley U11 were out in force today with a win at Pylewell Park, and the pairs in action at Beaulieu.
Bashley U15 also had a convincing win against Beaulieu at home.

Well done everyone today:  excellent batting and bowling performances all round.

And a particular well done to the girls playing in the Junior league squads: superb catches from Chloe-Ann Anderson, U13 & U15,;wickets for Rosie White & Lucie Menary at Pylewell Park , Katie Harding : 3 wickets against Beaulieu U11 and Tash Davey 3 wickets for Bashley U15

U9's Pylewell Park 294 Bashley Rydal 196

Bashley U9's travelled to the picturesque ground of Pylewell Park and came up against a very good home side.
Bashley were asked to bat first and all four pairs worked hard against some very straight bowling, which made run scoring very difficult, in fact there were only 20 extras in the visitors total of 196. Leo Rogers (1) William Lewis (4) Joshua Shafer (1) Joss Esposti (1) Christian Davies (1) and Joshua Randall (3) being the run scorers.
Bashleys bowling was more disciplined than in earlier games, but Pylewell's running between the wickets and ability to put away any loose balls allowed the home side to gain a comfortable win. Bashley boys stuck to their task in the field and Shafer was the sole wicket taker with 2-14.
James Bala (capt & wk),  Leo Rogers, John Townsley, William Lewis, Joshua Shafer, Joss Esposti, Christian Davies and Joshua Randall were the Bashley  team.

Bashley Bandits - two wins in one week!

An exciting weeks for the girls, playing 2 matches within the week, 2 wins - with both matches being decided in the final over of the match. Well done Girls !

By the end of this week, the U13A team will have played 2 re-scheduled fixtures in addition to their regular Thursday evening, so hope to be back on track with some results on the board.

The U13B were in action too last night, playing at home to New Milton. For more details, please see the Match Reports page

Its been New Forest Cup weekend.....

This weekend was cup week in the fixture for all age groups

Despite the unhelpful weather, the U13s did manage to hold their match, but lost out to their Lymington opposition
The U9s had a good home match against Fawley on Friday, losing out by just 11 runs
The U15s were beaten at  home by Winterslow on Sunday, who reached Bashley's 1st innings total with just 2 balls to spare

However, well done to the U11s who continue in the competition, winning at Fawley this morning.
