Friday 25th July 2014, braving a rather severe downpour at 5pm, we "kept the faith" and were rewarded with glorious sunshine for the the annual Junior Presentation
Evening, kindly sponsored by New Milton Rotary Club.
This year, we celebrate team success across the age groups with the U15s finishing at
the top of the New Forest South league. The U11 11-aside and the U13 A teams
both finished 2nd in their
respective leagues. We have also fielded
enthusiastic squads for U9 and U11 pairs league cricket, and a 2nd
U13 league team.
The Club is delighted with the success of our Girls Squad, the “Bashley
Bandits” in their first season within the inaugural girls leagueAll the Junior cricketers were commended on their commitment, enthusiasm and performance though out the Junior season by Richard Morris, 1st team captain.
Awards
from each squad for bowling, batting, all-round performance and “Player’s Player” were presented by John
Morgan, President of New Milton Rotary Club.
